Accommodation Reviews

Very close to University Park campus (10-20 minutes on foot, depending on the building you’re going to go to).  Thus, it is convenient to go back and forth, during those long breaks that you may have between lectures.  Most importantly, you won’t have to rely on the bus to travel to campus, as it gets busy during peak hours.

Newark Hall is located in Jubilee Campus, which is a 5-minute bus ride to the city centre. This accommodation is suitable for you who will be studying Business, Computer Science or other courses that have classes in Jubilee Campus. If your course Is held mainly in University Park, don’t worry. Hopper bus, which runs every 15 minutes, is available for you. Or you can walk or cycle if you prefer to do so.

Newark hall is located in The University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus. It is a strategic location as it is nearer to the city centre with frequent bus services and QMC is within walking distance. Jubilee campus is an open and green campus, a great place to enjoy the fresh air.

When I decided to take a course in University of Nottingham, I had no actual information regarding the accommodations available here. With the limited time I had before the terms began, I spent hours looking through the options only to find myself still uncertain about my choices. Having to choose quickly, I decided to make a contract with Raleigh Park, a self-catered site. So today, I would like to share with you my experience in Raleigh Park to better understand one of the options.

15-20 minutes away to the University park, depending on your walking speed. 7 minutes away to the Jubilee campus. You may take the 903 university bus for free which will take you from jubilee campus to university park, but the whole journey starting from riverside point to jubilee exchange stop by foot, then to university park by bus, would take the same amount of time with when you walk from riverside point to university park. Another option is to take the public bus which cost £1 for students to the university park. It will save 5 minutes of your time.
